PURPOSE: To efficiently obtain a large amount of square-shaped green peppers by spirally cutting green peppers to give belt-like materials and cutting the belt-like materials into a square shape.

CONSTITUTION: A green pepper 1 from which a core is removed, which is vertically cut and from which seeds are removed is fixed to the top of a column 2 having a spiral blade 3 attached to the interior, the column 2 is rotated around a longitudinal shaft, the green pepper is spirally cut to give a belt-like material 4. The belt-like material 4 is cut into a square shape.
