PURPOSE: To produce a steel sheet for a DI can excellent in deep drawability, ironing workability, neck workability and compressive strength.

CONSTITUTION: A continuously cast slab contg., by weight, ≤0.01% C, ≤0.05% Si, ≤0.5% Mn, ≤0.03% P, 0.015% S, ≤0.01% N and 0.01 to 0.1% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is subjected to hot rolling and pickling, is thereafter subjected to primary cold rolling in the range of 50 to 85% rolling ratio, and is subjected to primary recrystallization annealing, is next subjected to secondary cold rolling in the range of 70 to 95% rolling ratio, is then subjected to secondary recrystallization annealing and is furthermore subjected to temper rolling of 5 to 35%.
