Title:
PRODUCTION OF STEEL SHEET FOR ENAMEL HAVING EXCELLENT SECONDARY WORKABILITY AND RESISTANCE TO FISHSCALING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6013028
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve press workability, enamel adhesion and resistance to fishscaling in the stage of producing a steel sheet for enamel by incorporating a specific amt. of B, Ti, S and Cu in the steel sheet and adjusting the heating temp. of a steel slab in the stage of hot rolling.

CONSTITUTION: A steel contg. <0.015% C, <0.50% Mn, 0.01W0.30% Ti, 0.018W 0.050% S, 0.005W0.07% Cu and 0.0001W0.001% B is used as a steel sheet for enamel. The billet thereof is heated to 1,150W1,350°C and is then hot rolled to a plate material which is further cold rolled to a thin steel sheet for enamel. The content of Cu therein is specified to 0.02W0.07% in the case of subjecting such steel to continuous annealing at 650W900°C to anneal the same and the content of Cu is specified to 0.005W0.03% in the case of subjecting the sheet to box annealing at 650W750°C. The steel sheet for enamel having the secondary workability improved by B, the resistance to fishscaling improved by Ti and S and the adhesion of enamel improved by addition of Cu is obtd.
