Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the polymer with high productivity and yield by contacting the specified α-olefin with a solid catalyst component and a cocatalyst and a catalyst including an electron donor in a fluidized bed reactor at the specified pressure and temp.

CONSTITUTION: At temp. excess of 80°C and at a pressure less than 700 kPa, alpha-olefin of 3-6C is brought into contact, in a fluidized bed reactor, with (A) a solid catalyst component containing a halide and a polycarboxylic acid ester having two coplanar atoms, (B) an organoaluminum catalyst and (C) an effective quantities of catalysts containing an electron donor with a Si-O-C linkage. The catalyst is prepared to compose an atom ratio of Al to Si in an electron donor as 0.5:1-100:1 and an atom ratio of Al in an organoaluminium cocatalyst to Ti in a solid catalyst component as 5:1-300:1. Then the polymers having a molecular weight distribution of less than 50 and an isotactic index in excess of 96% are produced.
