Title:
PRODUCTION OF STRUCTURE HAVING CORROSION-RESISTANT SINTERED NI ALLOY PART
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62214102
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a structure of an optional shape having a high-strength corrosion-resistance Ni alloy part by packing corrosion-resistant Ni alloy powder into the whole of the structure or the partial molding space adjacent to the existing body and subjecting the same to hot hydrostatic pressurization.

CONSTITUTION: A plastic mold having the molding space delineated to, for example, a gate valve body for an oil well as shown in the figure is fashioned of a mild metallic plate. The corrosion-resistant Ni alloy powder is packed into such molding space and is subjected to the hot hydrostatic pressurization treatment for the prescribed time under the prescribed pressure after deaeration and hermetic sealing. The structure of the shape to which the application of cold working is difficult or part thereof is easily formed of the corrosion- resistant sintered Ni alloy body by the above-mentioned method; in addition, the above-mentioned alloy part is made extremely high in strength.
