Abstract:
PURPOSE: To largely obtain the compd. useful as agents for protecting grains having herbicidal activity in remarkably high yield and purity on an industial scale by the new method.
CONSTITUTION: The compd. of the formula I [R1 is 1-6C alkyl, 2-6C alkenyl or the like; R6 is H or 1-4C alkyl; X is O, -O-NR2-(R2 is H, 2-6C alkenyl or the like) or the like] is brought to react with the compd. of the formula II (R3 and R4 are H, 1-4C haloalkyl or the like; R5 is R6; Y is N or CH), preferably in a solvent such as water, acetonitrile or the like to obtain the objective compd. of the formula III or the salt thereof. This reaction is executed preferably at room temp. to 110°C in such a manner that the compd. of the formula II and the formula III are used so as to regulate their molar ratio to (1:1) to (1.1:1). Moreover, the compd. of the formula I is a new compd. and is preferably obtd. by bringing the compd. of the formula R1-X-H to react with a half-molar ratio of chlorosulfonylisocyanate.
