PURPOSE: To obtain easily the titled highly active pharmaceutical, suitable particularly for vascular obstruction therapy and puncture or centesis method of cancers, and having performance as an obstructive agent, by fixing an anticancer substance and a blood coagulant in a structure containing a neutralized and oxidized cellulose as a material.

CONSTITUTION: An anticancer substance and a blood coagulant are fixed in a structure containing a neutralized and oxidized cellulose as a material, e.g. fiber assembly or sponge, by the physical adsorption or entrapping method, etc. to give the titled pharmaceutical having improved sustained release property. The degree of neutralization is preferably such that the neutralized and oxidized cellulose is dipped in water to give 5W6pH. A combination of blood coagulation factor VIII and thrombin is particularly preferred for the blood coagulant. Thus, the vascular therapy can be rapidly and accurately carried out, and the chemotherapy can be carried out in parallel.
