Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a thermal recording material excellent in transparency, reduced in background fog and having high recording sensitivity.
CONSTITUTION: A thermal recording material is produced by coating a support with a dye layer coating soln. prepared by dissolving a leuco dye and an adhesive in an org. solvent A and drying the coated support to form a dye layer and applying a coupler layer coating soln. prepared by dissolving a coupler and an adhesive in an org. solvent B to the dye layer and drying the coating layer to form a coupler layer.
