PURPOSE: To obtain a decorative laminate of a wooden base having a protuberance pattern, by placing a deformable sheet on prepreg having a protuberance pattern put on a wooden base, followed by hot pressing.

CONSTITUTION: The prepreg 2' having the protuberance pattern 3 is put on the wooden base 1 and, if necessary, with the sheet 6 coated with an adhesive laid between the base 1 and the prepreg 2' (the overlay 4 is applied to the prepreg 2', if necessary). The deformable sheet (rubber sheet, etc.) is placed on the prepreg 2'. and the layers thus formed are hot pressed by the hot platens 7 and 7 to give a decorative sheet consisting of the resin layer 2 having the protuberance pattern laminate on the wooden base 1.
