Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing three-dimensional woven fabric for binding member, enabling the increase of strength without increasing the volume of the joint part in the case of using as a three-dimensional woven fabric composite material in a state joined to the other structure member, exhibiting improved toughness (durability) to tensile load and compression load and having easily estimable design strength.

CONSTITUTION: A metal bushing 2 is placed on a substrate 1 and pins 3 are stood along the outer circumference of the metal bushing 2 on the substrate around at least a part of the bushing 2. A yarn group containing a warp (z) extending in the longitudinal direction of woven fabric and bias yarn B slantly extending relative to the warp (z) is arranged between the pins 3 in folded state to form a warp layer and a bias yarn layer. After laminating the necessary number of the layers, the pin 3 is replaced with vertical yarn to connect the layers with each other and obtain three-dimensional woven fabric.
