CONSTITUTION: In the method for manufacturing the welding tip which has a hole for threading a wire for feeding power in the axial center part, a long size holed bar having at least a pair of parallel surfaces 102, 102 on the outer peripheral surface and the wire threading hole 103 in the axial center part is used. This long size holed bar is cut off into a base stock 101 for tips of desired length, a male screw 106 is machined in one end part of the base stock 101 for tips and a tapered part 107 for guiding the wire which is communicated with the wire threading hole 103 is machined in the end part on the male screw side of the base stock 101 for tips.
