Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for a titanium alkoxide bearing an acryloxy group including a polymerizable unsaturated bond that is useful for producing organic polymer-titanate salt composite having excellent moldability and high fracture toughness.
SOLUTION: The objective titanium alkoxide bearing an acryloxy group incluging a polymerizable unsaturated bond that is represented by the formula: Ti(OR)4-nQn (R is identical or different short-chain alkyl groups; Q is individually the same or different acyloxy groups including polymerizable unsaturated bonds; n is 1 or 2) is produced by allowing a titanium tetraalkoxide comprising short- chain alkoxy groups and titanium to react with a carboxylic anhydride bearing polymerizable unsaturated bonds.
