Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method of producing gauze fabric underwear which are firmly sewed with reduced strain and give comfortable feeling to wear with soft touch or fabric hand.
CONSTITUTION: Several sheets of gauze fabric are overlaid so that their edges on both ends are tuned up in the longitudinal direction. Bias tapes 2 are placed on both edges and overlap-seamed. In desired positions, a lock machine is used to effect over-casting, as being cut. Then, the gauze fabric is sewn to underwear of desired forms. The underwear are washed with a neutral detergent for table wares and warm water, rinsed with warm water and dried.
