Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily obtain a high purity valence compensation type perovskite compd. in the form of uniform fine particles at a low cost by bringing a mixture of specified three kinds of alkoxides into a reaction and hydrolyzing the resulting reaction product. CONSTITUTION:Calcium alkoxide (A) is mixed with alkoxides (B) of one or more kinds of elements selected among rare earth element, actinoids, Co, Mn, Ni, Rh, In, Ga, V, Cr and Al and antimony alkoxide (C). This mixture is brought into a reaction preferably at about 40-100 deg.C reaction temp. and the resulting reaction product is hydrolyzed by adding water. A precipitate of white powder formed by the hydrolysis is taken out by filtration to obtain a valence compensation type perovskite compd. This compd. is suitable for use as a piezoelectric ceramic material, etc.
