PURPOSE: To produce a structured velour textile web having various kinds of patterns by applying a textile fiber different from a supporting web to the whole or a part of the supporting web, and needling the resultant web under a specific condition.

CONSTITUTION: A single-layered or multi-layered previously needled nonwoven fleece web is used as a supporting web, and a layer of a textile fiber different from the supporting web at least in one kind of color, form, material, degree of fineness and orientation, is applied to the whole or a part of the supporting web. The resultant web is additionally needled so that the textile fiber may penetrate the supporting web so as to be observed at the under side of the supporting web, and the piles of the textile fibers may come to rest in the plane of the lower surface of the supporting web.
