Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a vinyl chloride copolymer composition with good moldability and high heat reesistance.
CONSTITUTION: This copolymer composition is prepared by polymerizing an aromatic monomer, e.g. styrene or copolymerizing the aromatic monomer with a copolymerizable monomer in the presence of a vinyl chloride polymer having a polymerization initiating group by the use of a chain transfer agent, e.g. dodecyl mercaptan in 0.01 to 4 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of all the monomers.
