PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing viscose rayon filaments having virtually serrated section or section similar thereto ≥45% in solid degree, prevented from developing fluffs or fiber breakages while maintaining lower draft condition.

CONSTITUTION: In spinning viscose rayon filaments having section ≥45% in solid degree, a noncircular spinning nozzle is used and a spinning draft D determined from the winding speed (m/min) of delivered viscose rayon filaments and the delivery velocity (m/min) of viscose from the spinning nozzle is set so as to satisfy the relationship: 0.3≤D≤3.0.
