PURPOSE: To recover the titled highly concentrated condensate capable of being added to foods in high yield and readily, by passing a low concentrated natural vitamin K1 raw material such as deodorized sludge, etc., obtained in deodorizing process of plant fats and oils through specific gel.

CONSTITUTION: Deodorized ditillate such as deodorized sludge, hot well oil foots, etc., having low vitamin K1 concentrated prepared as by-product in purifying process of various plant fats and oils of soybean oil, cotton seed oil, colza oil, etc., is subjected to steroid removal, esterified with a lower alcohol, then subjected to ion exchange resin treatment and/or molecular distillation treatment and passed through silica gel which is spherical particles having 50W300μm and chemically linked to octadecyl group at 0.1W1.0 solution passing velocity (space velocity) at ≤the boiling temperature of a solvent to give the aimed concentrate useful as a blood coagulant.

EFFECT: When the vitamin K1 concentrate is added to foods and taken, diseases caused by deficiency in vitamin K1 can be effectively prevented.
