PURPOSE:To prolong the life of the electrode by using a ceramic material having conductivity as a material which withstands theremal stress owing to an extremely sharp temperature gradient and bonding a conductive metal, such as silver, copper, or other, to this ceramic material, on the electrode for magnetohydrodynamic generation of electricity.
