Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0732510
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To impart sufficient waterproofness, in stitching waterproof shoe materials cut into a predetermined shape, by filling the gap between the shoe materials laminated at a joint part with a hot-melt resin material to stitch the joint part and bonding the stitched part by the hot-melt resin material.

CONSTITUTION: As a shoe material for waterproof shoes, artificial leather wherein a waterproof resin film is formed on one surface of a fabric 10 of which the other surface is raised obtained by raising pile cloth or tricot or natural leather is used. When the artificial leather 1 is used, the raised surface develops design effect and water repelling function and a leather main body having a porous film as a waterproof film can develop sufficient waterproofness. After stitching, a laminated interface can be perfectly filled and integrated by melting. When a polyamide hot-melt resin tape is used as the hot-melt resin 2, the matching of the edge with the leather 1 is easy because of the shape of the tape and the appearance of shoes is not damaged by the melting treatment of the hot-melt resin tape.
