PURPOSE: To make it possible to enhance an effective life by depositing molybdenum disulfide within a cutting range at room temp. and baking the same for a prescribed time in a specific temp. range.

CONSTITUTION: The razor is deposited in the cutting range at room temp. and is then baked for 30 minutes as far as possible within a range of 120 to 150°C. As a result, a low friction coefft. is obtd. and, consequently, the generation of dust may be averted. The highly effective life of the blade is obtd. by the small tacky adhesiveness of an adhesive. If the coating thickness is 1 to 5 μm, preferably 3 μm, a good slipping characteristic is generated and, therefore, such thickness is particularly advantageous.
