PURPOSE: To obtain a woven or knit fabric of twisted acrylic filament yarn having excellent dry touch and drapeability and high abrasion resistance by weaving or knitting a twisted yarn obtained by twisting a specific acrylic filament yarn at a specific twist coefficient.

CONSTITUTION: An acrylic filament yarn having a loop strength of ≥4g/de, a loop elongation of ≥20% and the product of loop strength and loop elongation of ≥100 is twisted at a twist coefficient of 8,000-22,000 to obtain a twisted acrylic filament yarn. A gray fabric produced by weaving or knitting the twisted yarn is scoured, dyed with a beam dyeing machine and finished to obtain the objective woven or knit fabric.
