Title:
PROFILING MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6389230
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make profiling actuation easily performable, by installing a spherical rotor in a casing via a spherical surface free of rotation, and attaching a slide, where a hand is attached to the lower end, to the rotor inside free of slide motion.

CONSTITUTION: A spherical rotor 2 is held in the inner part of a casing 1 via a spherical surface free of rotation in all directions of 360°. Each stepped part 7 projected inward is installed at both sides in and around a lower end part of the casing 1, and also in the rotor 2, where are provided with stepped parts 8 as corresponding to these stepped parts 7. A slider 13 consists of a disc part 14 and a cylindrical part 15, while a disc cam 17 and a pair of sliding plates 18 to be slidden in the radial direction by rotation of this disc cam 17 are attached to the guide groove 16 formed in the disc part 14. A hand 25 is attached to a lower surface of the cylindrical part 15 of the slider 13. In addition, a seal member 26 is attached to an interval between both lower ends of the casing 1 and the cylindrical part 15, whereby viscous material 10 is prevented from being scattered and lost.
