To provide a new estimation technology for estimating an effort requested when changing a portion of an object inclination program for classifying classes by using a name space.
The kind of name space used by a program to be estimated is analyzed, and how classes are classified by using the name space by the program to be estimated is analyzed by using a screen definition as a unit. Which class has a method for performing interrelated processing is visually displayed based on the analytical result, and the change quantity of the program is input without omission about each method owned by each class, and the effort, requested when changing a portion of the program to be estimated are estimated based on the input program change quantity. Thus, it is possible to easily and accurately estimate the effort requested when changing a portion of the program to be estimated.
