Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of a computer system by providing a program for emulating the 2nd operating system (OS) and a task for controlling the resource of the 1st OS from the 2nd OS.
CONSTITUTION: A secondary OS task 44 is controlled by a center OS 41. A source program 55-1 in a secondary task 55 controlled by an OS 54 is compiled to form an object program 55-2. To run a background, a load module 55-8 is operated as a background task 56. To run a foreground, the load module 55-8 is coupled with an emulator part 53-1 as a foreground program part 53-2 and operated under the control by the OS 41.
