Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily recognize the details of a patch program in a program correction system for correcting load modules by patches.
CONSTITUTION: An instruction for writing a corresponding patch management number (i) in a work register or the like and a jump instruction to a patch control routine 3 are buried in the correction part 2 of the load module 1. At the time of the execution of the correction part 2, the patch management number (i) is written in the work register or the like by the instruction first and control is transferred to the patch control routine 3. Thereafter, by the patch control routine 3, the control is transferred to the leading address PAi of the patch program Pi corresponding to the patch management number (i). Also, when it is required to recognize the details of the patch program Pi, the load module 1 is disassembled. Thus, since the patch management naumber can be acquired, a required software change management tag can immediately be searched without referring to a patch management ledger.
