Abstract:
To provide a program which allows evaluation of regularity, speed, and smoothness of biting motion, allows detailed comprehension of course and convergence of the motion as well as positional relationship between it and an intercuspal position, allows diagnosis of the situation of the biting and detection of early contact, and allows display of variation in motion of a whole mandible.
The program comprises an input means for inputting the dada about the motion of a mandible, a means for extracting the rolling amount of the mandible for the maxilla from the data input about the motion of the mandible, a means for calculating variation in rolling amount on the X, Y, Z axes, and a display means for displaying the results.
