In a portable terminal 100A which functions as a program recording reservation device, when a program reservation instructing operation is made while a first program is displayed on a display section 103, a control section 101 acquires program information of the first program, a time management section 105 stores a piece of operation time information the program reservation instructing operation is made, a tag information obtaining section 108 notifies the program information of the first program to a program configuration information server 200A and obtains a piece of program tag information on the first program, a reservation information generating section 109 generates or obtains a piece of reservation information for reserving recording with respect to a second program on which a program PR is made on a scene corresponding to the operation time the program reservation instructing operation is made based on the operation time information and the program tag information, and a program reservation section 110 makes a recording reservation of the second program using the reservation information.
