Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize a fine and accurate program searching together with an easy editing job by recording a program searching code for each frame of a video signal applied on a recording pattern pattern of video tape. CONSTITUTION:The video signals 4 equivalent to a single field are recorded on the video tracks 2 and 3 of a CH-1 and a CH-2 respectively. These two tracks 2 and 3 form a frame. No signal 4 is recorded for 1H out of the preceding 6H from a vertical blanking period 6 and the program searching codes 5 are recorded instead. In other words, the codes 5 are recorded for each frame of the signal 4 applied on the recording pattern of a video tape. Then these codes 5 are read out for program searching. Thus an accurate program searching is carried out for each frame of the signal 4, i.e., 1/30sec.
