Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a programmable logic device in which the internal circuit function can be switched at high speed under a state where the device is built in a system.
CONSTITUTION: The programmable logic device 1 in which the connecting state of each wiring connection unit 4 is switched based on the wiring information of internal circuit being set by a user comprises a plurality of memory elements 6 each having a RAM 5 connected with each wiring connection unit 4. The device 1 further comprises an address bus terminal 9, a data bus terminal 8, and a control bus terminal 10 connected with the RAM 5 storing the wiring information.
