Title:
PROGRESSIVE FORGING MACHINE OF PROVIDED WITH INDIVIDUALLY REGULATABLE TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1058079
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To easily change a forging process in order to improve the quality of part and the uniformity by regulating each tool of a work station sepatately from a tool of the other station and regulating the relative position of the tool on each station in producing a specific part.

In a progressive forging machine, a piston rod 87 is made in contact with an upper end of a wedge plate 46, and drives the wedge plate 46 downward in the vertical direction in the time of energizing an actuator 86. A clamp bar 37 is presses elastically to the rear side at a cassette clamp position with a spring pack 88 held at the rear end of the clamp bar 37 with nuts and washers. A piston 89 of each clamp bar 37 is received in a hydraulic chamber 91. A pressured hydraulic fluid introduced selectively in the hydraulic chamber 91 with a controller is overcome to the spring force and the clamp bar 37 is moved to the right side, the cassette 18 lying in such a place is detached and a new cassette 18 is received.
