Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08211339
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide spectacles in which wearing person can obtain a substantially constant of field of view of object in near visual acuity part regardless of non-emmetropia or power addition value of lens and without leading to the deterioration of lens characteristics.

The surface of the ophthalmic lens has a far visual acuity part VL containing a control point L for far visual acuity, a near visual acuity part VP containing a control point P for near visual acuity, an intermediate visual acuity part VI between the far visual acuity part VL and the near visual acuity part VP, and a progressive main diameter line MM' passing three parts of the far visual acuity part VL, the near visual acuity part VP and the intermediate visual acuity part VI.
