Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a projected image which is bright and which has uniform brightness and no color unevenness.
SOLUTION: A projected display device comprises a color separating means having a color separating surface for forming a predetermined angle to a Y-Z plane, an X-Y plane substantially perpendicularly to an X-Z plane when three directional axes perpendicularly crossed with each other are (X), (Y), and (Z), and a direction parallel to an optical axis of an emitted light from a lamp unit is (Z). The plurality of the lamp units are arrayed along a substantially Y-direction.
