Abstract:
To make it possible to achieve both suppression of sea clutter in power detection and reduction of glint noise in angle measurement signal detection when approaching a target in high dive and performing power detection and angle measurement signal detection of the target.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a missile guiding method includes: generating a transmission pulse waveform in a transmission/reception cycle period of an irradiation radio wave that radiates an irradiation radio wave to a target, performing pulse compression modulation, and radiating it as the irradiation radio wave; demodulating a signal reflected back from the target at the time of reception of a reflected radio wave in the transmission/reception cycle period; storing observation-by-observation data for all received signals observed in the transmission/reception cycle period and subjected to pulse compression demodulation; ranging and averaging observation-by-observation data for the stored all received signals of a plurality of times; extracting a signal in a target range from the averaged signal; and obtaining an angle measurement signal by a mono-pulse angle measurement scheme using the signal in the target range. The angle measurement signal is generated by extracting a narrowband target range from a target detection range by wideband processing and a result of wideband processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
