Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device capable of easily performing video projection on a modified screen such as a human type screen.SOLUTION: A projection device that projects video by using a display element includes: projection means that includes a projection lens; optical zoom means that changes and adjusts zoom magnification of the projection lens; digital zoom means that electronically scales up or down an image by image data; effective image acquisition means that extracts data of an effective image to be displayed in an original image by the image data as projection image data; zoom determination means that determines zoom settings of the optical zoom means and the digital zoom means according to the extracted data of the effective image; and projection control means that causes video of the data of the effective image to be projected coincident with a screen 100 in accordance with the zoom settings of the optical zoom means and the digital zoom means.
