Abstract:
To provide a projection material for blasting using a waste material such as a waste tire, or a byproduct of the waste material, of high quality and low in cost.
The waste tire is crushed or ground, separated into fine grain pieces containing a tire cord 10 and rubber powder, the fine grain pieces containing the metal cord 10 are further incinerated, and cut pieces 12 of a steel cord 11 from which the rubber powder fastened on a surface of the metal cord is removed is used for the projection material for blasting.
