Abstract:
PURPOSE: To project an image having a clear image frame.
CONSTITUTION: The image formed on spatial, modulation elements 15, 16 and 17 is read out and projected on a screen 36 through 1st, 2nd and 3rd lens groups 30, 32 and 34 in this device, which is provided with an aperture 33 for intercepting unnecessary light in a projected luminous flux near the image- formation surface of the 1st lens group 30, and constructed so as to change the form of the interception by the aperture. Thus, the image having the clear image frame is projected on the screen 36, and even when the image having different image frame enters, the image whose contrast is distinct is projected owing to the form of the interception in accordance with the image.
