PURPOSE: To project an image without trapezoidal distortion on a screen by providing a driving means eccentrically driving some of projection lenses, eccentrically driving at least two or more lenses out of the projection lenses, and generating eccentric distortion aberration.
CONSTITUTION: The driving means 9 which eccentrically drives some of the projection lenses 8 is provided. Even if a luminous flux from the projection lenses 8 is slantingly projected on the screen 10, at least two or more lenses out of the projection lenses 8 are made eccentric to generate the eccentric distortion. Thus, a device main body is slantingly arranged with respect to the screen 10, trapezoidal distortion arising when a luminous flux is slantingly made incident on the screen 10 from the projection lenses 8 is corrected, and an image without distortion is projected.
