To reduce the number of parts and the assembly man-hour of a projection type picture receiver by forming a container where space between the face side of a cathode ray tube and a projection lens arranged ahead of the cathode ray tube is filled with liquid and making a cylindrical container made of synthetic resin and having bellows shape have a function for adjusting the pressure of inside liquid.
The inside of a radiator 4 connecting the cathode ray tube 1 and the projection lens 2 is filled with the coolant liquid 3. The cathode ray tube 1 is fixed in contact with the radiator 4 through an O-ring 5 by a cathode ray tube fixing plate 9 fixed on the radiator 4 through a machine screw. The cylindrical container 7 made of the synthetic resin, for instance, polyethylene and having the bellows shape is fixed at a part of the radiator 4 by a one-side screw part. The inside coolant liquid 3 is expanded by temperature rise at the time of energizing, and the bellows part of the container 7 is deformed to keep the pressure in the container constant. Since the liquid 3 is hermetically enclosed by a cap 12 having the screw part, the infiltration of air bubbles is prevented and workability is improved.
