Abstract:

To provide a projector and the like that improve image quality without measuring an image even when an optical component is replaced.

The projector for projecting an image based on an image signal includes: a light source part, an optical modulation part for modulating light from the light source part based on the image signal, a correction data storage part to be updated by correction data calculated based on at least spectroscopic information corresponding to the spectroscopic distribution of the light from the light source part and spectroscopic information corresponding to a spectroscopic modulation rate of the optical modulation part, and an image signal correction part for correcting the image signal based on the correction data stored in the correction data storage part.
