Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a projector control device, a projector, a projection system, a projection method, and a program capable of performing projection onto a real object which can vary temporally and/or spatially even in an optical system having a shallow depth of field. [Solution] According to one aspect of the present invention, a projector control device is provided. This control device comprises a light emitting control unit and an optical system control unit. The light emitting control unit is configured to be able to control a light emitting unit of a projector so that the light emitting unit emits light at a first operating frequency. The light emitting unit is configured to emit light such that projection light including an image can be projected onto the real object, and the distance between the real object and the light emitting unit can vary temporally and/or spatially. The optical system control unit is configured to be able to control a variable focus optical system so that the variable focus optical system changes the focal position of the projection light at a second operating frequency. The first operating frequency is 100 Hz or higher, and the second operating frequency is 30 Hz or higher.
