Abstract:
To prevent a projector from being continuously used while a factor of abnormality occurrence in the projector has not been removed because a user has failed to notice a warning display generated due to the abnormality occurrence in the projector.
Control means 20 in a projector 1 sets an abnormality detection flag 21a when abnormality detection means 40 has detected abnormality occurrence. When the abnormality detection flag 21a is set while the projector 1 is in a power-off state, on detecting a power-on operation by a remote operation, the control means 20 disables the power-on operation.
