To provide a projector device capable of switching optical paths of light from a light source with a minimized switching mechanism.
The projector device includes: a first lamp 102 and a second lamp 104 which emit light for forming image light; and a switching mechanism 200 which switches the optical paths of light from the second lamp 104 so that light from the second lamp 104 follows the same path as light from the first lamp 102. The switching mechanism 200 includes: a mirror 202 which has a rectangular shape and reflects light from the second lamp 104; a mirror holding member 204 which holds the mirror 202; and rotation shafts 216, 218 which are arranged on the mirror holding member 204 so that the rotation center is identical with one end 220 in the longitudinal direction on the surface of the mirror 202.
