Then, when a projection image is horizontally long, the CPU 610 reduces size of the image formed in the image formation panel according to a horizontally-long image magnification stored in a flash memory 620, and when the projection image is vertically long, the CPU 610 reduces the size of the image formed in the image formation panel according to a vertically-long image magnification stored in the flash memory 620.
