PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time until projection of an image corresponding to a projection object.SOLUTION: A projector comprises: a storage section 335 storing a first correction parameter and a second correction parameter different from the first correction parameter; a shape correction section 343 correcting image data on the basis of the first correction parameter or the second correction parameter; a radio communication section 355 receiving a notification signal instructing to switch a correction parameter; a control section 330 switching the correction parameter used for correction of the image data by the shape correction section 343 from the first correction parameter to the second correction parameter on the basis of the notification signal received by the radio communication section 355; and a display section 310 projecting an image on the basis of the image data corrected by the shape correction section 343 to a projection object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
