Abstract:

To provide a projector for optical communication capable of irradiating a light projection range with almost all of light emitted from a light source and preventing irregular irradiation from occurring in the light projection range.

A light projection part 57 is formed by plurally providing light emitting bodies 55 constituted of a 1st optical element 50 constituted of a spherical surface which is more than semispherical, a light emitting element 51 arranged at a specified position on the element 50, and a 2nd optical element 52 being a transparent body having two boundary surfaces 53 and 54 and provided on the optical path of the element 50, and arranging the light emitting bodies 55 in a matrix state at a specified optical axle-to-axle distance (g). Meanwhile, a light projection lens 59 constituted by disposing plural small-sized lenses 58 whose focal distance (f) is identical in the matrix state at the optical axle-to-axle distance (h) different from the distance (g) of the light emitting body 55 is provided to be arranged on the optical path of the light projection part 57.
