Abstract:
To provide a projector capable of projecting an image suitable for observation.
A projector 100 comprises: a projection unit 190 that projects an image on a projection object; a determination unit 160 that determines whether a viewing distance as a distance from the image projected on the projection object to an observation position of the image is suitable for an image size relating to the size of the image projected on the projection object; and a control unit 150 that performs control for changing the size or type of the image when it is determined by the determination unit 160 that the viewing distance is not suitable for the image size.
