To irradiate a transmittable element effectively by using light emitted from a light source and light emitted from an additional light source.
A headlight comprises a lens 16, an additional light source 36 and an element 40. Light, which is emitted form a light source 12 and reflected by a reflector 10, passes through the lens 16. The additional light source 36 is provided on an edge area of the reflector 10 to form boundary light. The element 40 encloses at least a part of a periphery of the lens 16 and light passes through the element 42 at least in part. Light, which is emitted from the light source 12 and not reflected by the reflector 10 and light emitted from the additional light source 36 pass through the through-light element 40. The through-light element 40 comprises a ring-shaped optical profile 42 on a surface facing an opposite direction of a light-irradiating direction of the through-light element 40 to form a Fresnel lens.
