To provide a projector type vehicular headlight, wherein the light distribution pattern of a travelling beam is easily formed even when using a light source having a small light output, resulting in sufficiently improved luminous intensity with good faraway visibility.

The projector type vehicular headlight comprises a projecting deformed lens 11 having a non-spherical lens 11a formed at the center and cylindrical lenses 11b formed at both sides, the light source 12, a reflector 13, and a light-shielding shade 14. Right and left portions of a horizontally long light source image is emitted near the center to easily form the light distribution pattern of the travelling beam even when using the light source having a small light output, resulting in sufficiently improved luminous intensity with good faraway visibility.
