Title:
PROJECTOR WITH BUILT-IN CIRCUIT FOR CORRECTING COLOR AND LUMINANCE UNEVENNESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003143621
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a projector with a built-in correction circuit that can eliminate color and luminance unevenness due to the effect of a display device and screen for projection.

A color/luminance unevenness correction value generating circuit 9 comprises a memory 7, an arithmetic processing unit (CPU) 6, and an external interface 8. The memory 7 stores a luminance distribution value, a luminance inclination value, a screen distribution value and correction value at n-sets of luminance levels at each correction point as digital data. The arithmetic processing unit 6 produces a correction value on the basis of the luminance distribution value, the luminance inclination value, and the screen distribution value and stores the correction value to the memory 7. A color/luminance unevenness correction circuit 1 corrects the color/luminance unevenness of a video signal input on the basis of the projected correction value and an interpolation value.
